Info for new Manufacturing Students

Here is a list of things you will need for the first week:

1. Signed safety contract
2. Shoe box for storage of small parts
3. 2 pencils and eraser
4. lock for your locker (optional) extra key for instructor
5. notebook or journal book
6. your own safety glasses (optional)- you may use glasses provided by the school
7. good solid shoes (no sandals or unsafe shoes)

In the first week we will be primarily working on safety instruction and how to use power tools.

We will be working with hand tools during the first week, until you have passed the safety quiz, and have a signed safety contract, you will not be allowed to use power tools

Welcome 9th Graders

Well, summer is nearly over, and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. I have been all over the country from the Atlantic Ocean in Maine to the Pacific Ocean in California, to Lake Superior in Canada.

Hope you enjoyed your summer and are ready for a year of fun and learning!
